Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to information you give us through this website. It covers Tel Aviv Yafo, 126 River St, Ballina NSW 2478 — together with Tel Aviv Yafo Express (45 Woodburn St, Evans Head NSW) and Sasha’s Fine Food catering.

The short version

We collect what you type into our enquiry forms, and nothing else. There is no analytics on this site, no advertising or tracking pixels, and no mailing list. We do not sell or share your details with anyone.

What we collect

Only what you enter into one of our two enquiry forms:

• Contact form — your name, email address and message.
• Catering enquiry form — your name, email address, phone number (optional), event type, event date and message.

We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this website, and you should never send card numbers through these forms.

Why we collect it

So we can read your enquiry and reply to it. That is the only purpose.

How it is stored, and for how long

Each enquiry is saved privately in this website’s database and emailed to us so we notice it. We keep enquiries while they are useful to us — typically no more than two years — and delete them after that.

Who else is involved

We do not share your enquiry with anyone. Three services are involved in running the website itself, and you should know what they see:

• Hostinger hosts this website, so your enquiry is stored on their servers.
• Cloudflare Turnstile protects the forms from automated spam. It looks at technical signals from your browser to tell a person from a bot. It does not use this to build an advertising profile of you.
• Google Maps supplies the embedded maps on our Contact and Catering pages. When one of those pages loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. This is Google’s processing rather than ours, and it is governed by their privacy policy.

Our Instagram and Facebook links are ordinary links. Nothing is sent to those companies unless you click through to them.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Our host may set a small number of technical cookies needed for page caching and security. If you comment or log in as a staff member, WordPress sets cookies to keep you signed in.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email telavivyafo.ballina@gmail.com and we will action it, usually within a few days.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
